Join Certis as a Work Safety Coordinator, Based at Sydney Airport. Are you an organised and driven rostering professional with a passion for operational excellence? Certis is looking for an enthusiastic WSO Coordinator to join our dynamic Aviation Security team at Sydney Airport.

In this pivotal role, you will work closely with our Performance Manager to coordinate forward planning of rosters, manage shift coverage, and support a network of trainers, Security Officers,and key customers. Your strong planning skills will ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service across our aviation security business.

Position Overview

Prepare, update and publish permanent rosters in line with operational requirements

Coordinate the setup of new account rosters and manage coverage for annual leave

Liaise directly with clients and contractors to meet security staffing needs

Ensure compliance with legislative, award, and internal policy requirements

Collaborate effectively with stakeholders including payroll, billing, and client service teams

Promote and uphold Certis’ strong safety culture in all rostering decisions

Experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience in operations or rostering, preferably in a multi-site environment

Knowledge of rostering platforms (essential) and computer-based roster systems

Intermediate to advanced MS Excel and Word skills

Qualifications in Administration, Business, HR or Payroll (preferred)

Excellent communication and reporting skills – written and verbal

Knowledge of the Security or Aviation Industry (advantageous)

Desirable Certifications

Current NSW 1E Security Licence

Certificate II in Security Operations

Current First Aid Certificate

Certificate in Business Administration

Experience working in a manpower or workforce planning environment

Skills

Strong problem-solving and operational decision-making abilities

Commercial acumen and attention to detail

Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and resolve conflict

Team player with a proactive and adaptable mindset

A commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in workforce planning
