We are seeking a footy-passionate, community-driven and organised STK Academy Coordinator to join our Academy Pathways Team. This role is a permanent part-time position working 18.75hrs a week, requiring afternoon, evening and weekend availability.

Job Description

About the role

This role supports the Academy Pathways Team at St Kilda Football Club by coordinating the STK Academy South Hub program, blending on-ground football passion with behind-the-scenes organisation. The Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring smooth program delivery through a mix of coaching support, stakeholder engagement, and digital admin tasks.

Key Accountabilities

- Lead the coordination and delivery of the STK Academy South Hub talent program, supporting youth aged 12–15 across the Frankston & District Junior Football League (FDJFL)
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders involved with the program.
- Be the go-to person for all things admin, coaching, talent ID, and high performance (ensuring everything runs smoothly and supports the development of future stars).
- Build strong relationships with volunteers, coaches, and regional talent leads to create a high-quality, inclusive and inspiring academy experience.
- Support exciting new initiatives such as the Strength Through Loyalty program for sons and daughters of past players.

Desired Skills and Experience

About you

- Available to work on weekends, afternoons, and evenings to support program delivery and events
- Comfortable working with a wide range of people, including volunteers, junior athletes, and regional stakeholders
- Able to manage competing priorities with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident using computers and digital tools for documentation, reporting, and communication
- Brings a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving

What you need

- Completion of a Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or equivalent
- Strong communication and people skills with the ability to engage with coaches, volunteers, and young athletes
- Experience in sport administration, talent development or program coordination (desirable)
- Higher education qualification in Sports Administration/Management (desirable)
- Valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
