About the Role

As a Tendering Specialist, you’ll manage the end-to-end tendering process nationally, ensuring all submissions are accurate, compliant, and strategically aligned with Emeco’s business objectives. You’ll set the national standard for Emeco’s tender presentations, showcasing our operational capability, technical expertise, and commercial value to clients.

This role requires strong project coordination, document management, and communication skills to produce professional, timely, and competitive submissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the full lifecycle of tenders, bids, and EOIs from evaluation to submission.

- Develop and maintain tender costing models and refine estimates using site data or historical performance.

- Collaborate with financial, commercial, and operational teams to prepare compliant, competitive proposals.

- Coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership, to meet submission deadlines.

- Maintain a library of templates, case studies, and project profiles to streamline future submissions.

- Prepare documentation to a professional standard, ensuring brand and format consistency.

- Lead post-submission reviews to drive continuous improvement in tender quality.

- Analyse project requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates, timelines, and cash flow models.

- Review contract terms, identify risks and opportunities, and support negotiation processes.

- Stay informed of market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing strategies.

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline.

- Proven experience in tendering, bidding, or proposal coordination within mining, construction, or heavy industry.

- Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience in cost modelling and analysis.

- Knowledge of open-pit mining, contract mining, or heavy earthmoving equipment (highly regarded).

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong document formatting skills.

- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

- A proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach to work.
