Create Contracting Strategy - Client Side - Project Work
This Global mining client currently has opportunities for Contract Specialists in Projects and Major Projects. Reporting to the Superintendent we are specifically looking for people who are capable of developing and implementing Contracting Strategies and have demonstrated experience in preparing Tender documentation, managing Tenders and awarding high quality Contracts.
They have a significant pipeline of work over the next 5 years and are looking for experienced Contracts professionals to assist in identifying and influencing the implementation of suitable Contracting Strategies and awarding of engineering and procurement contracts to facilitate the roll out of these strategies.
About you
As a Strategic Contract Specialist ideally, you will hold a relevant qualification or proven experience in projects within the mining and minerals processing or energy industries. You will have the opportunity to utilise your advanced engagement and collaboration skills in managing stakeholder relationships. Likewise, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and a high standard of oral and written communication skills.
You will also possess the following:
- Demonstrable analytical and problem solving skills;
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment;
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities;
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational management skills;
- Experience with establishing engineering and construction agreements.
This role is offered on a flexible working week including work from home. This is a long term to permanent position.
