Workday Consultant (Technical & Functional)
Leading Scientific Research client (consulting through FinXL)

FinXL Professional Services is a leading IT consultancy that partners with clients to bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. Since 2003, we've been delivering high-value ICT services across government, finance, telecommunications, and enterprise sectors.

FinXL is seeking a Workday Consultant (Technical & Functional) to join our consulting team for a high-impact, short-term advisory engagement with a leading Scientific Research client. Initially, this would be 3-4 weeks of work, with potential for further work based on the roadmap you help define.

Responsibilities

- Act as a key Technical and Functional Advisor on Workday
- Assess current Workday utilisation across HCM and Financial Reporting (ERP)
- Evaluate the existing use of Workday for Project Management
- Conduct stakeholder engagement and detailed process analysis
- Provide strategic recommendations on leveraging the Workday platform
- Identify opportunities to optimise workflows
- Advise the client on getting the most value from their Workday investment

Key Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as a senior, seasoned Workday consultant
- Strong expertise across both functional and technical aspects of Workday
- Specific subject matter expertise in Workday Financials and HCM
- Must be based in Brisbane and able to work on-site
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and advisory skills
