**Your role**

At Allens, our business teams are specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges.

You'll be a part of our Operations and Insights Team within our People & Development function, where you'll play a critical role in the implementation of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system within Allens.

You'll provide a crucial link between the business and the technical team during the implementation and ongoing management of Workday. Specifically, you'll play a key role in the design and change management for Workday Learning and Workday Talent.

As a Workday Functional Lead, you will:

- **Project Management**: Lead the functional design work of Workday Learning and Workday Talent.
- **Requirement Gathering**: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for the Workday system.
- **System Configuration**: Support the configuration of Workday based on the gathered requirements.
- **Testing and Quality Assurance**: Ensure that the configured system meets business requirements through testing.
- **Training and Support**: Training end-users and stakeholders on how to use Workday effectively and provide on-going support during the implementation.
- **Change Management**: Assist in any change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of Workday across the firm.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover parental leave however, flexibility matters at Allens and if you are seeking hybrid working or are looking for flexibility in your work (including work from home), we would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you.

**About you**

You will have:

- A deep understanding of the Workday platform, which ideally includes knowledge of Workday Learning and Workday Talent modules.
- Experience as a Functional Lead in a Workday implementation program and/or experience as a BAU Support team member supporting Learning and Talent configuration.
- Strong project management skills, including an ability to plan, organise, and prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate resources to meet project deadlines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, including an ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement effective resolutions.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels, and communicate technical concepts with clarity and simplicity.
- Capability to support teams through organisational changes and transitions.
- A can-do attitude with an enthusiasm to learn new things.
