As the Team Leader – Streetscape Services, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality day-labour services that maintain and enhance Council’s streetscape areas. Reporting to the Coordinator Streetscape, you’ll lead a dedicated team to ensure works are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with Council’s Operational and Strategic Plans.

Responsibilities

- Leading and supervising a team of field staff to deliver streetscape maintenance and improvement works.
- Monitoring team performance and ensuring targets are met in line with individual and team work plans.
- Coaching and developing staff, fostering a positive and productive team culture.
- Collaborating with the Coordinator Streetscape and Parks and Streetscape Operations Manager to ensure service delivery aligns with community expectations and the Community Strategic Plan.
- Resolving operational issues and supporting continuous improvement in service delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

- Relevant horticultural qualification OR equivalent industry experience in streetscape operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team and its functions to achieve outcomes that address current challenges for the IWC and its commitments to the community.
- Knowledge and skills in staff management, performance management and staff development.
- Demonstrated experience with field devices (e.g., tablets) for managing daily team work plans.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing, including the ability to comprehend maps, street signage & work schedules and complete daily report forms.
- NSW Class C Motor Vehicle Driver's Licence

$73,696.48 - $80,330.12 + 12% Superannuation
