At APA, our purpose is to secure Australia's energy future. We're not doing it alone. We're doing it with our customers and communities as Australia's energy infrastructure partner, a role our unique experience and expertise positions us to play.
Role
As a part of the APA ServiceNow Product Team, the Senior Developer will work closely with our Senior Systems Administrator and Product Owner, to collaboratively design, develop and deliver our technology solutions to support customer and business strategies. You will focus on technical delivery across our run (BAU) and project-funded workstreams, where you will work across multiple product lines and deliver architecturally sound, holistic solutions for APA, while mentoring our Junior Developer.
Responsibilities

- Design and implement solutions that provide value, are relevant, purposeful, and sustainable
- Contribute as a technical SME to support qualification, scoping, estimation, and other inputs for new or existing workstreams
- Resolve complex configuration and integration challenges
- Play a key role in the delivery of complex and/or marquee projects and engagements for our PSC and OT teams
- Partner with our ServiceNow Product Owner to collaborate with ServiceNow (vendor), through our Commercial AC, SC and Customer Success Managers
- Plan and develop workshops (when required) for project-funded works that require discovery and holistic solution design
- Help us cement our role as trusted advisors to senior leadership
About You
We are looking for someone who is passionate about ServiceNow and the benefits it can continue to bring to APA.
- Applicants should be experienced in application development across multiple platform product lines, preferably within a variety of customers environments.
- Experience in customer-facing roles, as business engagement is a crucial part of the APA way
- Experience in taking business challenges and translating them into a suitable technical solution within ServiceNow
- Strong Application development and integration experience
- Strong experience across ITSM, ITOM and HRSD modules
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Proven ability to innovate, adapt, and work under pressure in complex environments with multiple stakeholders and firm deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer services skills
- Relevant Industry certifications such as ITIL, ServiceNow CSA, ServiceNow CIS, etc...
- Exciting time to join an expanding in-house team
- Work with a high performing team who is deeply intrenched in the business and already boasts great vendor relationships
- Genuine flexible work environment (WFH with a light in-office requirement)
- Strong investment in training and upskilling - certifications paid for
- Mature team environment with an elevated level of engagement
- Location: Melbourne or Brisbane preferred, but desirable candidates are welcome from anywhere
