Senior Trade Support Analyst | FinTech | North Sydney | Hybrid

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Middle Office professional to join a collaborative team of four within a high-volume trading environment. You’ll have end-to-end exposure across the full trade lifecycle, with a focus on equities, options (ETO), and FX. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you’ll play a key role in the team - remaining hands‑on while supporting and guiding colleagues as needed. What You’ll Be Doing

- • Accurately capture and book client trades, ensuring all details are recorded correctly and in line with ASX regulations and internal controls.

- • Validate, confirm, and amend trades as required, liaising directly with advisers, brokers, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies promptly.

- • Manage daily trade reconciliations, investigating and clearing exceptions across equities, ETO, and FX products to ensure data integrity.

- • Oversee the end-to-end trade lifecycle, from execution through to settlement, ensuring all activity is processed accurately and within required timeframes.

- • Coordinate settlements and maintain accurate records to meet legal, regulatory, and audit obligations.

- • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support upcoming technology and system upgrades within the operations function.

- • Deliver exceptional service by proactively supporting advisers and internal stakeholders throughout the trade and settlement process.

About You

- Experienced in Trade Support, Middle Office, or similar roles within stockbroking, trading, or broader financial markets

- Strong understanding of trade bookings, reconciliations, and settlements, ideally across equities, ETO, and FX products.

- Proven ability to perform under pressure, particularly during peak trading hours.

- Adviser-focused mindset with a proactive and solutions-driven approach.

- Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising across front, middle, and back-office stakeholders.

- A strong relationship builder – approachable, collaborative, and communicative.
