This hands-on role requires a structured, organised, and technically minded individual who can lead asset coordination, streamline operational processes, and support our operations team.

You will ensure vehicles and equipment are safe, compliant, well-maintained, and efficiently utilised, while mentoring the team and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. This role requires regular travel between our Bunbury and Perth depots, so flexibility and reliability are essential.

- Lead asset lifecycle coordination: procurement, fit-out, maintenance, inspections, and disposal
- Oversee preventative maintenance schedules, repairs, and service coordination
- Minimise downtime and operational costs while maximising fleet efficiency
- Track vehicle, equipment, and asset compliance, registration, licensing, and insurance

Operational Support & Leadership

- Mentor and guide team members on asset usage, safety, and fault-finding
- Analyse team performance, driver reports, and implement improvements
- Support incident and accident investigations related to assets
- Coordinate operational KPIs and report key metrics accurately and promptly
- Provide support to other operational areas and depots as needed

Facilities & Security

- Ensure company facilities are maintained, hazard-free, and compliant with lease requirements
- Coordinate security, key access, and facility-related service providers

Must Have Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- WA C Class manual drivers licence (HR licence would be highly regarded)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in scheduling/coordination in the construction, transport or retail industries. Prior experience in a mechanical background (or strong personal interest in this area) would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to pitch in, take initiative, and help keep things moving. If you’re hands-on, action-driven, and happy to step away from the desk when needed, you’ll fit right in.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the confidence to deal with a variety of people on a daily basis. You will be required to document in electronic systems daily.
- Demonstrated strong logical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. We are looking for someone who has the ability to think on their feet, forward plan and adapt to change in a fast paced environment.
