Casual Learning Support Assistant (Primary)

We're seeking casual Primary Learning Support Assistants at our Narre Warren South campus who desire to play a vital role in the creation of an inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive.

Waverley Christian College is a forward-thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2025.

As a casual team member, you'll play an important role in our school community, providing the support students need to engage in school and class activities. You’ll have the chance to make a positive impact and witness students reaching milestones they might not have achieved without that extra help.

You are an ideal candidate if you:

- Have a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Education Support or are prepared to study towards one
- Are highly motivated
- Are health and safety minded
- Have good administrative and Microsoft Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Have excellent problem-solving skills
- Enjoy working in a team environment
- Are able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education
- Are willing to get involved in all aspects of the College’s programs and opportunities
- Have high level communication and interpersonal skills

Applicants are to include a Resume, Letter of Application, Pastoral Reference Letter, and complete the screening questions as part of the application process. Applicants will also need to provide a list of three referees.

A Working with Children’s Check and a Police Check less than three months old are mandatory prior to being hired. A First Aid Certificate (HLTAD011) and Anaphylaxis Certificate are also required prior to starting in the role.
