The Opportunity
As a Executive Support Officer in the City of Perth, you will provide high-level executive, governance, and project coordination support to the General Manager Engagement and Activation. The role requires professional judgment, discretion, and initiative in managing executive workflows, complex reporting requirements, and Alliance-wide priorities. Operating with a high degree of autonomy under general direction, this position coordinates executive reporting, supports moderately complex projects, and facilitates effective engagement across the Alliance, Executive Leadership Team, and broader organisation.
Reporting to the General Manager of our Engagement and Activation alliance, your responsibilities would primarily include:
- Deliver high-level executive support to the General Manager, managing complex priorities, diary coordination, correspondence, and confidential matters;
- Prepare and coordinate executive-level briefings, reports, agendas, minutes, and presentations, ensuring quality, accuracy, and governance compliance;
- Support informed decision-making through research, analysis, project coordination, and proactive tracking of actions, risks, and deliverables; and
- Drive continuous improvement of administrative systems, reporting processes, and Alliance operations in line with organisational and legislative requirements.
About You

- Proven experience providing high-level support to an executive or senior leader in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organisation;
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail; and
- Excellent administration, time management, and organisational skills, demonstrating initiative and the ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities.
