Join Aurizon – Australia’s largest rail freight operator and an ASX100-listed company – in this newly created role at the intersection of financial reporting and sustainability.

The Financial Reporting Specialist – Sustainability role is a rare opportunity in Brisbane to contribute meaningfully within a large ASX-listed corporate environment. Key responsibilities

- Develop and maintain policies, frameworks, and controls to ensure audit-ready, decision-useful disclosures.

- Partner with auditors and assurance providers to coordinate financial and sustainability audits.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial and sustainability reporting systems and processes.

- CPA or CA qualification (mandatory)

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial reporting, ideally with Big 4 or ASX-listed exposure

- Demonstrated experience applying AASB S1 and S2 and emerging sustainability reporting frameworks (preferred)

- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

- Ability to translate complex financial and sustainability data into clear, meaningful insights
