Morcare Services is looking for support workers to join our team and work with clients based in Rosebud and Sorrento.

Shift Times and Locations:

- Rosebud – Aged Care Client

- Weekly: 2-hour Community Access shift (Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday)

- Monthly: 2-hour Domestic Assistance shift (general tidy-up, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday)

- Sorrento – TAC Client

- Daily shifts, Monday – Sunday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

With this client, you’ll provide:

- Personal care (showering, toileting, dressing, transfers with standing/sling hoist)
- Domestic support, including meal preparation and PEG feeding assistance
- Community access (e.g. shopping or activities)

Your Responsibilities

- As a Support Worker with Morcare, you will assist clients with the following tasks:

- Community Access - assisting clients out in the community such as Shopping assistance, going to the Cafe, Gym Programs, Hydrotherapy and day programs
- Domestic duties - maintaining household cleanliness, vacuuming, mopping and laundry
- Personal care activities including showering, dressing and toileting
- Supporting clients within their own homes and out in the community
- Meal assistance and preparation

Qualifications:

A minimum Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support or similar is preferred, but not required. We may consider transferable skills and personal experience as part of your application. If you don/'t have experience as a Support Worker, consider joining Morcare and be supported to deliver quality care to clients

Your Requirements:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Current and valid Level 2 First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificates
- Qualification such as a Certificate III or IV in Disability or Aged Care or equivalent industry related experience (preferred but not required)
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- A smartphone compatible to download our rostering app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Your own vehicle and full comprehensive car insurance
- International Police Check Certificate (or willingness to obtain) if you have lived overseas for more than 12 months within the last 10 years
- Proof of work entitlement (if applicable)
- Provide at least two professional employment references
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Reliable and Punctual
- Caring nature and ability to understand clients and their needs
