We're seeking a talented lawyer with experience in commercial litigation, debt recovery, and construction disputes to join our close-knit team. You'll work directly with established clients, enjoy meaningful client contact, and be supported by a highly experienced principal who encourages idea-sharing and professional growth.
What You'll Be Doing
- Advising on a broad range of commercial litigation and construction matters
- Managing debt recovery files from start to finish
- Drafting Statements of Claim, Applications, Affidavits, and briefs to Counsel
- Liaising with Counsel and attending directions hearings, pre-hearing conferences, and mediations (primarily in Brisbane or nearby)
- Handling court appearances and managing court dates locally
What We're Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and well-developed analytical skills
- Excellent drafting ability across a range of litigation documents
- Confident communicator with experience briefing and liaising with Counsel
- Ability to manage files independently and attend local court events as needed
