As our highly valued Lending Settlement Operations Team Leader based in Brisbane, you’ll join a team that values fresh thinking, genuine care, and personal accountability. Set your sights high, make a difference and drive your own development; we want you to be part of our story.

As Team Leader, you’ll coach, mentor, and lead a team of 12-15 Operations Officers to deliver operational excellence and consistently high levels of service. You’ll ensure workflows run efficiently, team members are supported and clear on expectations, and that settlements are completed accurately and on time. You’ll model Great Southern Bank values, and help embed a high-performance, engaged culture.

You’ll make an impact by:

- Lead, coach, and coordinate a team of 12-15 Operation Officers within Lending Settlements
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, oversee, guide and direct the day-to-day running of the business in line with target performance outcomes, and adherence to policy and procedure.
- Monitor and evaluate team member performance, identifying areas of improvement and implementing the necessary coaching, training and development for team members

Do things differently with us

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Minimum 3 years’ leadership experience in Financial Services or a related industry with strong capability in workforce planning, resource management, coaching, and performance uplift to drive team and organisational outcomes
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Operations, ideally with a comprehensive understanding of home lending and settlements, including cross-state settlement requirements
- Solid working knowledge of home settlement platforms including PEXA. Exposure to Dye & Durham and LendFast would be advantageous
- Diploma in leadership or a financial service-related field
