About the Role

We're seeking a Bridgeworker Team Leader to join our Regional Assets Team based at our Redlynch depot.

Reporting to the Structures Maintenance Supervisor, you'll lead a small team responsible for maintaining bridges, culverts, and other key infrastructure. You'll play a vital role in planning, resourcing, and delivering safe, timely, and high-quality maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring safety and quality standards are met
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor to monitor progress and resolve issues
  • Oversee servicing and preventative maintenance of plant and equipment
  • Support tradespeople with mechanical maintenance tasks
  • Manage administrative duties and maintain accurate records

About You

  • Strong knowledge of bridge and structural maintenance standards, systems, and costs
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with effective communication and negotiation abilities
  • Competent in Queensland Rail systems and applications (e.g., SAP R3, MS Office, IQMS)
  • Committed to Queensland Rail's values and behaviours
