As pioneers of the combined hardware and landscape supply model, Steve Jones has grown to become one of Queensland’s largest resellers of bricks, pavers, and retaining wall blocks, earning a strong reputation for exceptional service, an extensive product range, and good old-fashioned customer care.

They have anewly createdSales Team Leader role offering a hands‑on leadership position where you’ll guide and motivate the customer service team, ensuring smooth store operations and satisfied customers. It’s a role for someone who leads from the front and is comfortable pitching in, staying on top of things, and confidently directing others.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and inspire the customer service team on the floor

- Open and close the store, including daily banking and till balancing

- Train and support staff to deliver top-tier service

- Ensure the store is clean, well‑stocked, and clearly priced

- Manage stock levels and conduct regular stocktakes

- Keep the team engaged, active, and aligned with daily goals

- Delegate tasks effectively and follow through on directives

What We’re Looking For

- A natural leader who’s present, proactive, and confident in giving direction

- Strong communication and people skills

- Background in retail, hardware, or landscaping supplies (advantageous)

- Comfortable in a busy, physical, outdoor environment

- A team player who values camaraderie and hard work
