About the role

GreenCollar is seeking an Analyst/Senior Geospatial Analyst to join our Operations team on a permanent full-time basis. You will join a multidisciplinary team and report to a Head of Portfolio. You will contribute to the delivery of geospatial outcomes and deliverables across multiple projects, working on spatial design, monitoring and performance management to deliver environmental, agricultural and economic outcomes. Location is flexible, with a preference for Sydney.

The day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Leading the spatial design of environmental projects at different scales and landscapes
- Solving complex environmental project challenges using GIS techniques and data analysis
- Creating high-quality spatial outputs (maps, datasets) to support monitoring and project performance
- Collaborating with peers to prepare data, reports, presentations and RFIs/audits
- Implementing and improving innovative geospatial analysis techniques
- Drafting and maintaining best practices and SOPs for geospatial workflows

Skills and experience

- Tertiary qualification in remote sensing, geospatial science, GIS or related field
- 4+ years as a Geospatial Analyst in a multidisciplinary setting
- Intermediate to advanced GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS) and image analysis tools
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R or Python is a plus
- Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills
- Experience delivering end-to-end geospatial projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Desirable: experience with FullCAM, RMT, SavBAT; knowledge of environmental markets
