Welcome to the AIN Partnership Pathway This program offers nursing and midwifery students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in clinical settings while progressing toward their qualifications.
How to Apply
Follow the steps below to submit your application for the AIN Partnership Pathway:
To be considered for employment as a Student AIN, you must provide evidence of enrolment, academic progress, and good standing in one of the following Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) approved programs of study:
- Diploma of Nursing – Completion of Stages 1 and 2 (66% Completion) of Diploma of Nursing program
OR
- 50% completion of Initial registration qualification leading to registration with the NMBA as a registered nurse and/or midwife
Ongoing Requirement:
Student AINs must provide updated evidence of current enrolment and progression at the commencement of each semester for the duration of their fixed-term contract, or if seeking to continue engagement on a casual basis.
Step2: Prepare Your Documents
Please ensure you have the following ready for upload:
- Resume (PDF or Word format)
- Upload transcripts to show completion of either
- Stage 1 and 2 (66% completion) of Diploma of Nursing program OR
- 50% completion of initial registration qualifications leading to registration with NMBA as a registered nurse and/or midwife
- Current Enrolment – Transcripts to show evidence of current enrolment
- Two referees, including:
Clinical reference from either an RN/CN/SDN from a recent placement

Before submitting your application, make sure you have:
- Academic transcript as evidence of course completion (Diploma Stage 1 & 2 or 50% of RN/Midwife qualification)
- Evidence of current enrolment
- Two referees with work email addresses

Note: Casual - will be assigned to work on a variety of wards across RPBG (may change day by day) - must be available a minimum of 1 day per week. Fixed term contract - assigned to a single ward (must be available a minimum of 2 days per week)
Step4: What Happens Next?
After submission:
- Your application will be reviewed by our Talent Acquisition team.
- References will be initiated
- Successful applicants will be placed in a candidate pool.
- Successful candidates will be contacted by Nurse Managers to discuss the available job opportunity.
