Adaps is hiring Pega Business Analyst to work with a Large Government Client on a world-class cutting-edge technology project.
What we need in this role:
As a Pega Business Analyst, needs to work with business and the technical team to analyze the requirements and describe to the technical team through User Stories. He/she will participate in all phases of the implementation life cycle working closely with Business Architect and Lead Solution Architect (LSA). He/she will be responsible for development activities to ensure quality deliverables. In some instances, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst with experience in PEGA to work closely with stakeholders to capture, analyze, and document business requirements, optimize business processes, and support the successful delivery of PEGA-based system solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, expertise in project management, and the ability to translate business needs into functional specifications that guide PEGA development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with users and stakeholders to formulate, document, and validate detailed business requirements specifically for PEGA applications and platforms.
· Identify, investigate, and analyze existing business processes, procedures, and work practices to understand current state and recommend improvements leveraging PEGA capabilities.
· Evaluate inefficiencies and recommend optimal business practices and system functionality tailored to PEGA’s process automation and case management features.
· Use project management methodologies to develop project plans, estimate costs, allocate resources, and manage PEGA project delivery timelines.
· Take responsibility for deploying PEGA functional solutions, including creating, adopting, and implementing system test plans that ensure high quality and integrity of PEGA applications.
· Develop clear and comprehensive user and training documentation tailored to PEGA processes and conduct formal training sessions for users and stakeholders.
· Prepare detailed functional specifications and user stories for PEGA developers to guide the design, configuration, and enhancement of PEGA systems.
· Use data and process modeling techniques aligned with PEGA’s framework to create precise system specifications for software development.
· Act as a central reference point and information source on PEGA project decisions, providing guidance and assistance in the system project lifecycle.
· Collaborate closely with PEGA developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into functional solutions.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst with hands-on exposure to PEGA platform implementations.
· Strong knowledge of PEGA process automation, case management, and decision rules.
· Experience with business analysis methodologies, project management principles, and data/process modeling.
· Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively and work collaboratively across teams.
· Experience in system testing, user training, and change management related to PEGA implementations is highly desirable.
· PEGA certification(s) is a plus.
