About the role
Join our civil construction team delivering major water infrastructure projects in the Pilbara. We’re seeking experienced, safety-focused Civil Operators with mobile plant skills to support trenching, clearing, pipelaying, and earthworks.
Reporting to the Piping, Civil & Earthworks Supervisor, you’ll operate mobile plant including Excavators, Water Carts, Moxys, Skid Steers, IT Loaders, Graders, Rollers, and Dozers—ensuring safe, high‑standard operation to support efficient project delivery.
Successful applicants must have:
- Valid HR Driver’s Licence
- Construction White Card
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
- At least 2–3 mobile plant operator tickets (Excavator, Water Cart, Moxy, Skid Steer, etc.)
- HRWL (DG, CN, RB) – Highly regarded
- FMG, RTIO, or BHP site inductions – Desirable
- Strong knowledge of safe systems of work and site safety procedures
- Ability to conduct pre‑starts, visual inspections, and daily equipment reports
- Proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to pass pre‑employment medical and D&A screening
