Responsibilities

As an Advisor - Communications for our Construction Consulting team at Ardent Consulting Services, your pivotal role will involve blending your communication expertise with the dynamic field of construction. Here are the key responsibilities:

- Strategic Communication Planning: Develop and implement communication plans aligned with the objectives of construction projects and the overall consultancy goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, government agencies, and the community. Ensure effective communication channels are established.
- Project Messaging: Craft clear and compelling messages related to construction projects, translating technical information into accessible content for diverse audiences.
- Content Development: Create written and visual content for project proposals, presentations, reports, and other materials, highlighting key achievements, milestones, and updates.
- Media and Public Relations: Manage media relations, press releases, and public communications related to construction projects. Work to enhance the public image and reputation of the consultancy in the construction industry.
- Internal Communication: Facilitate effective internal communication within the construction team and across the organisation, ensuring everyone is informed about project progress, goals, and updates.
- Crisis Communication: Develop and implement crisis communication plans specific to construction projects, addressing issues promptly and maintaining a positive public perception.
- Brand Management: Ensure that all communication aligns with the consultancy's brand strategy, reflecting a consistent and positive image for construction projects.
- Technical Communication: Translate complex technical details into clear and concise language, making project information accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Proven experience in communications, public relations, or a related field, with a focus on the construction industry being advantageous.
