About the Role
Disability Support Workers with YNA are responsible to providing flexible and responsive support to
promote choice, self-determination and independence for our clients in a range of community and inhome settings. Your communication skills will need to be clear & effective to meet the needs of our clients.
Duties may include:
• Assistance with personal care
• Household support, including meal preparation
• Manual handling and medication supervision
• Social support, including interaction and transporting.
We’ll back you every step of the way and always consider your preferences to get the best experience
as an agency team member.

About you
We are seeking team members with the right attitude, who are dependable and reliable. You will
need to have strong work ethic, good communication skills and a willingness to learn and help people,
along with
• Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care / Individual Support & paid experience
• Minimum 6 months paid experience
• Exceptional communication skills to engage with our clients
• National Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence.
