Warehouse Operations Supervisor – Major Hazard Facility - Whyte Island, Lytton, QLD

About the Role

Toll Group are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead our operations at Whyte Island – a Major Hazard Facility handling dangerous goods and complex supply chain activities. This is not your typical warehouse role; it’s an opportunity to work in a highly specialised environment where safety, compliance, and operational excellence are paramount.

What you’ll do, but not limited to

- Lead and develop a team of warehouse professionals, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

- Oversee all warehouse and terminal operations, ensuring compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), load restraint, DG storage and transport, and fatigue management requirements.

- Drive operational excellence through Lean principles, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Manage critical systems, maintenance schedules, and value‑add services such as decanting and repacking.

- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer service.

What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience in logistics operations and in a supervisory role.

- Strong knowledge of warehouse and transport operations, including CoR and DG compliance.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Frontline Management qualification (or similar) and a Forklift licence desirable.
