Company Background
A market leader in providing technical solutions to essential industries such as food, dairy, beverage production, pharmaceutical and desalination industries.
The business has recently expanded and established a Service Centre to provide technical support and maintenance services to our clients.
Further growth is now underway, to include production of key components/heat exchange equipment in Australia.
Position Overview
As a Service Engineer, you will provide onsite and workshop support to customers across Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical and Desalination industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing and repair of separators, decanters, heat exchangers and homogenisers.
- Go to site or provide workshop support - this would be a circa 50/50 split.
- Travel to visit customers within Victoria and Interstate.
- Preparing Service Reports, conducting site audits and assessments, as well as completing JSA and SWMS documents.
Candidate Background
- Experience working with separators or decanters is highly desired. Any rotating equipment or heat exchanger background will be considered.
- Mechanical Engineering, Service Engineering or Service Technician background. Servicing process equipment is well regarded.
- Ideally has food + dairy industry experience.
- Can show initiative, be proactive while a team player to fit into the company culture.
- Is able to travel, visiting a range of customer sites and can accommodate occasional overnight stays.
