The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Service Engineer to join their Sydney team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and ongoing maintenance of their analytical instrumentation used in Mining and Industrial applications. The role will involve 60% travel across the East Coast of Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure analytical instruments and systems, ensuring optimal performance from delivery to sign-off.
- Diagnose and resolve issues remotely or in the field, ensuring timely repairs and high customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular maintenance to prevent equipment failure and maintain optimal operation.
- Keep customers informed of the status of ongoing service requests and escape issues when necessary.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma or higher qualification in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in technical support, customer service, or field service engineering.
- Experience working on analysers or measuring equipment or similar.
- Hands‑on experience with precision mechanics and technical troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively (60%) across the East Coast of Australia & New Zealand.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and work independently.
- Experience using analytical instrumentation is beneficial.
