Business to Business Integration Specialist, NSW, 12 Months

Our client is a government department in NSW looking to onboard a Business to Business Integration Specialist for a 12-month rolling contract.

Key accountabilities include:

- Conduct technical design workshops to capture and validate business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical design documentation.
- Ensure integration solutions comply with existing SAP architecture and clean core principles.
- Collaborate with vendors to implement and validate integration solutions.
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases for end-to-end testing of interfaces and data flow.
- Perform test execution, defect tracking, and resolution coordination.
- Work with business analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure delivery quality and timelines.
- Set up and manage test cases in relevant testing tools.

Key requirements for this role are:

- Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA integration within large enterprise or government environments
- Strong understanding of SAP Clean Core principles and the ability to design integrations that align with governance and architectural standards
- Ability to document and translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications
- Solid experience working with middleware platforms (e.g., SAP PO/PI, SAP CPI, MuleSoft) and API-based integration (REST, SOAP)
- Demonstrated experience in developing detailed test plans and test cases for system, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Strong background in test execution and defect management, using tools like JIRA, Zephyr, HP ALM or similar
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical teams, vendors, and business units
- Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodologies and working in cross-functional project teams
