**Customer Service Officer - Aquatic Centre**:
At UQ Sport, it’s our vision to be Australia’s number one sporting university and our mission to deliver exceptional sporting opportunities for The University of Queensland (UQ) Community. We’re Queensland’s largest multi-sport facility and have Athletics, Aquatic, Tennis and Fitness Centers, as well as grass and synthetics playing fields, indoor and outdoor multi-sport courts, function spaces and retail outlets. Our memberships base spans over 4,000 customers, with a further 7,000 people actively involved across UQ’s 35+ sporting clubs.

**ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY**:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our team at the UQ Sport Aquatic Centre. This role will focus on providing exceptional service in our retail and café areas, ensuring our customers have an outstanding experience and that retail operations run smoothly.

As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in promoting UQ Sport’s products and services, working closely with the Aquatics Centre’s Duty Manager to maximize sales, enhance customer satisfaction, and maintain a high standard of operations.

We are seeking someone with excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to contribute positively to our team’s goals. If you’re someone who takes initiative, has a knack for sales, and enjoys working in a team-oriented environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.

**IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL**:

- Responding to customer queries, providing information about UQ Sport products and services
- Open/Close facilities and ensure facility is clean, safe and presented to high standards
- Operate point of sale for retail and food/beverage service
- Assisting with the setup for events/functions and basic administration duties.

**TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL**:

- Have previous cash handling and customer service experience
- Hold a current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Hold a current Blue Card
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on customer service excellence.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
