**About the Role**

The Dean of Programs will lead the academic quality, performance and reputation of UniSA Justice & Society’s programs and courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level, delivered on-campus, online, mixed-mode and offshore. The position leads a team of Program Directors, and will work alongside our Discipline Leads, teaching and professional staff, and our partners, including Government, industry practitioners and accrediting bodies, to develop and deliver quality programs, raising their profile and impact, to meet the needs of current and future workforces, nationally and internationally.

We are looking for a high performing and proven team player, with strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, who embraces diversity and inclusion.

The successful applicant will have an exceptional record of achievement in leading and delivering high quality, practice-informed teaching programs that achieve outstanding student satisfaction and graduate outcomes. They will also have experience in external program accreditation, understanding the nuances required to successfully navigate the process.

Working closely with the Executive Dean and the Dean of Research, this position will assist in embedding a strong teaching-research nexus in the Unit’s education programs and will proactively contribute to the development of scholarship and research capability through staff associated with the program portfolio.
