Based in the UniSA Clinical and Health Sciences Unit at the City East campus
- Full-time, fixed term contract until 30 June 2025
- Salary Band: $93,165 - $99,759 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)
**About the Role**
The position will contribute to the research and health service evaluation efforts of the Rosemary Bryant AO Research Centre and will conduct research activities related to the Centre’s strategic agenda, the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (SA Branch), and other projects as directed.
Project support will be required in three primary areas.
- To support the delivery of a project focused on the development and implementation of patient-reported measures (PRMs) under the National Cervical Screening Program Quality Framework. The project is funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care and includes content validity testing and implementation activities over a 2-year period
- To support the coordination of research translation activities as part of a project on loneliness funding by the Women’s Health Research Translation and Impact Network. The work will involve coordinating translation activities including development of resources, evaluation materials, ethics submission, data collection, data entry, academic writing, policy briefs, and secretariat support including drafting agendas and minutes for project working groups
- Other evaluation projects in health service settings as required. The projects may include analysis of administrative and/or clinical data, and staff experiences using interviews, focus groups, or survey methods

In collaboration with UniSA Clinical Health Sciences and the Rosemary Bryant Foundation the Rosemary Bryant AO Research Centre aims to develop and undertake a broad program of health care analysis, review and research in the areas of population and public health, health services and health systems, workforce planning and reform, safety and quality, clinical practice, patient outcomes, and education and professional development to inform strategies for:
(i) extending the capacity and capabilities of nurses and midwives to build a resilient, sustainable and collaborative workforce,
(ii) health system planning and resourcing,
(iii) health policy, and
(iv) clinical care and outcomes
**Core Responsibilities**
Under the guidance of Project Lead:
- Support the planning and coordination of research translation activities including development of project resources, evaluation materials, and stakeholder communication
- Provide secretariat support for project advisory groups
- Assist with interviews/focus groups, including analysis of findings using relevant qualitative methods for the project
- Assist with recruitment of participants according to the procedures approved by the human research ethics committee
**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Bachelor qualification and Postgraduate qualification in Psychology, Social Science, Public Health, Health Science or related discipline and/or relevant experience
- Ability to develop high quality project resources including print and web-based materials
- High level written and oral communication skills including demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with team members, external parties, and colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to carry out interviews or focus groups
- Demonstrated ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative data using software including but not limited to SPSS and NVIVO
