**About the Role**:
This is a Fixed Term, Part Time position to cover Parental Leave for 12 months, at 0.8 FTE per fortnight within the Department of Research Operations

You will be responsible for the education, communication, problem solving and support for Melbourne Children’s Campus researchers who are using the electronic medical record (EMR) for research. You will act as a liaison between researchers, clinicians, supporting departments and the Precinct EMR Research team, as well as the local RCH EMR team as needed.

**What you’ll achieve**:

- Maintain and deliver EMR research curriculum for new staff
- Pro-actively build and maintain a good working relationship with Campus stakeholders to ensure the system configuration aligns with their requirements and strategic directions
- Identify barriers to using EMR for research at Melbourne Children’s, suggest and work with stakeholders to implement solutions’

Classification for this position will range from AO61-AO65 (base salary $106,464 - 109,319 per annum pro rata, plus superannuation)

**Your skills and experience**:

- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders as well as strong negotiation skills and ability to lead and influence others.
- Experience in clinical research
- Ability to pivot and problem solve to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events

**About the Department of Research Operations**:
We provide research support by working to improve systems and processes at RCH to facilitate research on and by the Melbourne Children’s Campus. In our department sits the Research, Ethics and Governance Office, who support the Human Research Ethics Committee.
