Join our Big 4 Bank, a powerhouse in the financial industry with a strong presence across 34 markets, focusing on core markets in Australia and New Zealand. As a customer settlement enquiries professional, you'll play a pivotal role in assisting both existing and new customers with their settlement-related queries. We offer an exciting opportunity for you to embark on a genuine career path, filled with endless possibilities.
- $32.69/hour + Super
- 6-month temporary assignment with view to go permanent
- Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 7:00 pm
- Induction and training: For the first 6-7 weeks, you'll be based in Docklands receiving comprehensive induction and office training, setting you up for success.
- Hybrid work model

**Your new role**
- Handling roughly 40 inbound calls from brokers, mobile lenders, branches, and solicitors with settlement-related enquiries, providing updates, and turnaround times promptly and professionally.
- Staying well-informed about new products, policies, promotions, procedures, and best practices to deliver the highest quality service.
- Conducting thorough research to address customer requests, utilising all available information sources, and identifying and escalating issues requiring further attention and resolution.
- Demonstrating empathy and professionalism when handling high-stress calls, ensuring customer enquiries related to home loans and settlement processes are resolved quickly and effectively.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Prior experience in phone-based or face-to-face customer service, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A personable and proactive attitude, always striving to provide exceptional customer experiences.
- A passion for customer service, driving you to go above and beyond to meet customer needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to effectively manage data and information.
- Resilience, as this role requires dealing with demanding situations while maintaining professionalism.
