THE OPPORTUNITY:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Lead to join our Projects team. Reporting to the Area Manager the Delivery Lead is required to assist the Area Manager in the safe delivery of the P680 Project throughout all facets of the project lifecycle. This key role is responsible for delivering project outcomes (scope, time, cost, quality, risk and resources) related to the planning, evaluation, design, execution and handover of the project.

This is a casual full-time position which operates from our head office in West Perth.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Guide the team successfully through the Engineering and Fabrication stages, aligned to the project schedule and budget.
- Drive value engineering, delivering cost reductions, and bringing assurance to equipment safety, quality, and reliability standards.
- Demonstrate continued performance and delivery of project, meeting key performance metrics in safety, scope, quality, cost, and schedule.
- Build relationships and confidence in consultants, vendors and equipment suppliers, ensuring quality standards and specifications are delivered, whilst supporting procurement and contracts teams to reduce equipment supply lead times.
- Responsible for the delivery of engineering design ensuring that technical and quality standards are achieved within allocated time and budget.
- Responsible for the delivery of equipment procurement, including quotation, evaluation, award and delivery in accordance with the project program.
- Responsible for the development of contract scope of works and technical tender reviews.
- Responsible for collating and preparing written reports and presentations for review and distribution to key project stakeholders.
- Support the site construction team and contractors to deliver the construction program.
- Provide input to the commissioning plans.
- Effectively engage with operational readiness teams ensuring they have the necessary project data to be able to build the asset management plans and operational procedures.

ABOUT YOU:

- Tertiary qualification within an engineering discipline, preferably within mechanical or metallurgy discipline
- Proven track record in the project delivery of mining projects, combined with experience in fast-track delivery strategies
- Developed knowledge of process safety, combined with proven experience in driving best practices in safety management within a project delivery environment
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office software
- Tertiary qualification in project construction management is highly regarded
- Developed commercial and contractual acumen, with experience and knowledge in an owner’s team project delivery environment is desirable
- Strong attention to detail with instinctive sense-making ability, combined with skill in qualitative and quantitative data analysis in decision making and in deriving value
- WA C class driver’s license
