The Delivery Lead is responsible for the performance and day to day management of Vocus' Voice Delivery Specialists, including; leadership, direction and development of staff, defining and monitoring performance metrics and ensuring orders are delivered within defined lead times through effective management and escalation processes.


This role will assist with driving service and process improvement initiatives to increase the efficiency of the team and improve customer satisfaction and the overall customer experience.


The Delivery Lead, where required, will assist the Delivery Manager (Region/National) with operational management tasks for wider Voice Delivery teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day to day management and performance of the Voice Delivery Specialist team, including leadership, direction and motivation of staff and ensuring the ongoing development of the Voice Delivery team through training, mentoring and coaching.
  • Define and establish key performance metrics for the team; monitor progress towards the achievement of goals, identifying problem areas and taking corrective action when necessary to ensure the quality of service and prevention of future problems.
  • Inspire, guide, mentor and motivate the team.
  • Provide a supportive and productive environment for the team.
  • Act as a communication point between the team and the wider business ensure that business changes are communicated effectively to the team and any issues raised by the team are brought for management attention.
  • Responsible for the recruitment, induction and education of new staff.
  • Ensure that staff are provided with technical awareness and training for all new and existing products / services.

Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the Telecommunications industry
  • Knowledge of various Telco products set i.e. Voice, UC, Collaboration, PSTN, LNP (desirable)
  • Knowledge of telecommunications provisioning
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience within the telecommunications industry (desirable).
