The Home Buying Team drive home buying experience for our customers, brokers and Lenders; and are focused on simplifying systems and policies to improve this experience and reduce time to approval.

Your Impact

The Delivery Lead role is one of the core delivery roles within Bankwest, with a principal focus on co-ordinating delivery of customer outcomes and effective management of technology and process focused change. The Delivery Lead role ensures the effective execution of the Bankwest's Agile Delivery Model - Blaze, and has a critical role to play in driving the achievement of Home Buying's strategic outcomes across the Agile squads within Home Buying. The Delivery Lead role will have accountability for ensuring excellence in Delivery focused team activities, leading capability development in Delivery practices with fellow team members and playing a key role in the management of business stakeholder expectations. The role would include but is not limited to the following:
Your responsibilities:

- Ensuring a culture of quality and focus on Delivery.
- Establishing and managing relationships with both peers and senior executives, within the Home Buying Team and across Bankwest.
- Enabling the delivery of quality customer outcomes by:

- Driving the execution of key activities within agreed timeframes and costs and at a high level of quality.
- Coordination and sequencing across a number of activities and dependencies.
- Scope management and governance.
- Resource coordination across teams and squads.
- Managing threats to the delivery of initiatives.
- Facilitating, escalating & monitoring the necessary remedial & recovery actions.
- Adherence to Bankwest's delivery processes, risk management, reporting frameworks, practices and controls based on Bankwest's Agile Delivery Model.
- Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of Delivery processes & methodologies.

We want to hear from you if you have:

- Tertiary qualifications in a Software or IT field.
- Risk Mindset - all Bankwest employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks.
- At least 5+ years' experience in an agile-software delivery focused role, with demonstrated success in achieving customer outcomes.
- High levels of competency, experience & strategic awareness to drive delivery of complex large scale initiatives.
- Excellent organising and planning skills with the ability to co-ordinate and manage multi-discipline activities; to organise workloads in a structured and logical way; and whilst working to tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated expertise in establishing & maintaining relationships both with a wide range of stakeholders in a large & diverse organisation, including strong analytical & tactical delivery skills directed at exceeding expectations.
