Albert Road General Practice is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a medical receptionist and/or endorsed enrolled nurse (EEN). This unique role offers a part-time position, where the EEN will contribute both to reception duties and nursing responsibilities.

**About the Role**:
**Reception responsibilities include**:

- Opening and closing the clinic
- Serving as a positive first point of contact for patients and clinicians
- Assisting and responding to patient inquiries in a helpful and friendly manner
- Providing administrative support to GPs and allied health practitioners
- Registering and updating patient details in Best Practice
- Booking and altering appointments in Best Practice
- Processing payments and Medicare rebates
- General cleaning and restocking of doctors' rooms with medical supplies
- Maintaining clinic confidentiality and patient privacy
- Liaising with other clinics and medical specialists
- Demonstrating high attention to detail when handling patient, clinic, and billing information
- Occasionally ordering office supplies

EEN responsibilities include:

- Medical supply ordering and organisation
- Recalls and reminders
- Wound care
- Assistance with care plan and TCA paperwork

**Specific skills and knowledge required for the job**:

- Best Practice experience (desired but not essential)
- HotDoc online booking platform experience (desired but not essential)
- Experience with private payments using Tyro or similar (desired but not essential)
- Understanding of common Medicare items used in general practice and knowledge of Medicare billing (desired but not essential)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
