Associate Account Manager

**Roles and responsibilities**
- Meet or exceed financial metrics; drive for results.
- Face of IFF - Primary contact for customers, maintain and improve IFF’s position and image. Develop deep customer relationships at all levels through intensive networking and providing best in class customer service.
- Identify/ create new business opportunities for IFF, develop and execute strategies to generate new sales.
- Identify customer needs aligned with IFF solutions.
- Strive to understand customer’s strategy, brands, flavor potential and how IFF will deliver value to their business.
- Create, present and professionally execute Account Plans aligned with business objectives. Update them and keeps them relevant.
- Leverage internal resources, understand IFF’s organization, capabilities, proprietary technologies, product and service offerings.
- Understand IFF financial metrics and implement them in-line with IFF targets and policy.
- Accountable for accurate sales forecasts periodically.
- Prepare sales reports and new business activity for IFF Management.
**Job Requirements**:
**Qualifications & experience**
- 0-2 year experience in sales.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business Management, Sales or Marketing, Food Science or Chemistry.
- Ability to manage projects from a brief through to submission with thorough understanding of IFF’s strengths, resources and competencies.
- Business and results driven; proactive personality; customer service oriented.
- Persistence to execute strategy and patience to deliver results.
- Excellent networking, collaborative and problem solving skills with the ability to coordinate activities of cross functional teams at all levels in the organization.
- Entrepreneurial, influencing and negotiating skills.
- Industry knowledge of trends, companies, technology with passion for food and flavors.
- Ability to connect customer needs to IFF solutions.
- Excellent oral/ written English communication and presentation skills.
