**The Role**
Under limited direction, perform moderately complex administrative duties in support of Service Category Transfers including;
- Provide accurate CM policy & provide advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders regarding SERCAT and Service Transfers, Voluntary Discharges and MECRB processing.
- Maintain a best practice approach to transactions by performing a quality assurance role and investigating D1 errors/anomalies and requesting corrections as required.
- Maintain accurate records of work progress by updating relevant registers.
- Maintain an awareness of DROCM-A Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and business processes & contribute to their update where requested.
- Perform ad hoc tasks to assist DROCM-A, as required.

**About our Team**
The Directorate of Reserve Officer Career Management - Army (DROCM-A) manages the careers of Army’s Reserve Officers.

The APS4 Personnel Officer position in Career Management Group (CMG) Support is accountable under limited direction for processing a range of transactions relating to the career management of Reserve Officers.

This position involves processing transfers from SERCAT 2 to 5, SERCAT 5 to 2, Voluntary Discharges, Service Transfers, and liaison between the MECRB cell and the SERCAT 5 Career Advisors. In absence of the other APS 4 member, this position will manage the CMG Support Group mailbox and distribute tasks as required.

This position will also perform ad hoc tasks, as directed
- Providing quality administrative support
- Building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Working with established policies and practices to deliver quality outcomes
- Working collaboratively within a team to prioritise and manage workloads to meet critical deadlines.
