- 12-month Fixed term role for a NEM Reform Program Manager to join our team
The NEM Reform Program Manager is responsible for working across Customer Markets, Integrated Energy, Information Technology and Corporate to ensure the efficient delivery of the NEM Reform changes for AGL.
This role will take end-to-end accountability of the program by planning and overseeing the delivery of NEM Reform related projects and be responsible for shaping response strategies and ensuring stakeholders are appropriately
engaged across key aspects of the NEM Reform program.
What you’ll be doing
- Review and manage updates relating to the AEMO NEM Reform program roadmap
- Prepare an impact assessment for NEM Reform changes across all business units
- Develop a detailed program level scope of works
- Develop and maintain a program plan in response to the AEMO NEM Reform
- Engage key stakeholders to develop strategic responses for NEM Reform initiatives
- Develop a business case and funding request for the project
- Shape and influence the direction for the AGL NEM Reform program
- Identify and where applicable, quantify program benefits
- Establish an effective NEM Reform program team structure (may utilise existing delivery teams)
- Ensure project delivery is within the approved scope of the program
- Manage program costs against authorised budgets
- Actively manage risks, issues & dependencies
- Actively support and contribute to the development of strategic business objectives
- Manage vendor payments based on progress and/or work performed
- Engage stakeholders at all levels including the executive team related to NEM Reform
- Represent AGL at AEMO NEM Reform meetings
- Work with stakeholders to ensure the implementation of a quality assurance framework incorporating regular audits and assessments
About You
What you’ll bring to the table
- Degree in IT and/or equivalent discipline
- Previous project and / or program delivery experience
- Ability to work closely with IT architects to effectively deliver to program roadmaps
- Proven experience in working with senior stakeholders at executive levels
- Demonstrated energy industry experience
- Experience with managing major regulatory and/or industry changes
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple teams across multiple business units
