About the Role
Role Overview
The role of the NEM Reform Program Manager involves coordinating efforts across Customer Markets, Integrated Energy, Information Technology, and Corporate divisions to ensure the effective implementation of NEM Reform changes at AGL. This entails taking full accountability for the program, overseeing project delivery, shaping response strategies, and ensuring comprehensive stakeholder engagement in key aspects of the NEM Reform program.
Please note, this position is for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
What you’ll be doing- Project Planning: Review AEMO NEM Reform updates, assess impacts, develop program scope, engage stakeholders, shape AGL NEM Reform direction, estimate costs, prepare board papers, and establish program team structure.- Program Delivery: Create and manage program schedule, oversee delivery, ensure compliance and budget adherence, manage risks, actively contribute to strategic business objectives, and track change requests.- Vendor Engagement: Support vendor requests, manage RFP processes, establish Statements of Works, and oversee vendor payments based on progress.- Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare program updates, engage stakeholders at all levels, represent AGL at AEMO NEM Reform meetings, and provide regular communications to internal stakeholders.- Quality, Compliance & Governance: Establish NEM Reform steering committee meetings, implement quality assurance framework, review post-implementation actions, monitor compliance, and contribute to an agile working environment.- Customer, People & Relationships: Demonstrate AGL values, ensure adherence to HSE systems and goals, and actively engage in coaching, training, and development.
About you- Extensive experience in project/program delivery.- Effective collaboration with IT architects for program roadmaps.- Proven experience with senior executive stakeholders.- Demonstrated expertise in the energy industry.- Track record in managing major regulatory and/or industry changes, along with strong IT skills.
