**Your Role**

The purpose of the role and your unique contribution is to be responsible for providing world class customer claims experiences. You’ll be the first point of claims contact for both our intermediaries and direct customers, supporting them with lodging new claims and providing coverage decisions within policy guidelines. You’ll need to be able to proactively manage customer claims and drive productivity, cost and quality outcomes aligned to our Intermediated Insurance Australia (IIA) strategy. This will include responding to high volume of calls and correspondence from direct customers, brokers, and authorised representatives regarding general queries and complaints associated with their claims, resolving compliant issues, mitigating risk and overall providing exemplary customer service interactions to our brokers, partners and customers at a time where they need us the most. Having the drive to continuously learn and develop your insurance knowledge is key to the success of this role.

Your IAG journey commences on **Monday 8 April 2024** with a comprehensive, 5-week induction, with hybrid facilitation consisting of both in office and work from home training. Working from home suitability will be assessed and mutually agreed after 3 months and once fully competent in the role. This is a fulltime, permanent role, working either Tuesday to Saturday or Monday to Friday between 8am to 8pm, so you need to provide full availability to work within these hours. Office location can be based out of our Parramatta or Brisbane office.
