Look no further We are currently seeking a Procurement Administration Specialist to join this State Government Department.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing sound procurement advice and guidance to stakeholders to support compliance with this Government Department's procurement policies and procedures. You will contribute to the development and review of procurement policies and procedures, procurement systems and business solutions to effectively support the procurement function and comply with mandatory government policies and reporting requirements.
The Opportunity
- Provide sound procurement advice and guidance to stakeholders to support compliance with this Departments procurement policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the development and review of procurement policies and procedures, procurement systems and business solutions to effectively support the procurement function and comply with mandatory government policies and reporting requirements.
- Assist with MoG changes data extraction and file migration.
- Coordinate and manage the information and administration systems including for Ministerial and Cabinet Briefings, ensuring correspondence meets quality and timeliness standards and ensure reliable systems and processes are in place to ensure appropriate follow up action is required.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders from within the department, industry and wider government departments/authorities and manage enquiries on a range of matters relating to divisional activities, often requiring sensitivity and confidentiality.
About You
- Exercise professional independent judgement to contribute to the preparation and modification of procurement policies, procedures and templates.
- Develop and implement improvements to systems, processes and tools as well as contributing to other business improvement initiatives.
- Utilise excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide sound procurement advice to stakeholders and to negotiate and influence stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
