**Role Details**: The Manager, Digital Strategy and Solutions is a role within People and Performance and is accountable to the Director, Business Improvement and Technology for:
- Leading and driving digital transformation initiatives and drive implementation of digital strategy.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders across the organisation to identify and implement digital technologies that enhance business processes, improve operational efficiency, and drive innovation.
- Shaping the department’s approach to digital services to deliver customer focused service change through digital technologies.
- Overall leadership of the Digital team and matrix management of project teams. This will include the effective performance management of staff to ensure an integrated approach to service delivery and consistent achievement of agreed outcomes.
Key outcomes and accountabilities:
1. Collaborate with senior management to define the digital transformation roadmap, aligning it with the overall business objectives.
2. Effectively project manage multiple relevant complex initiatives ensuring they are delivered within available resources and timescales, and effective engagement and skills transfer is undertaken with stakeholders.
3. Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement digital solutions that align with business needs, such as cloud computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation.
4. Ensure seamless integration of new technologies into existing systems and provide training and support to end-users.
5. Through the effective use of appropriate digital technologies, engage and lead change with department services in redesigning process to deliver efficiencies, improve performance and deliver a positive customer experience.
6. Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to build consensus, manage expectations, and ensure alignment throughout the digital transformation journey.
7. Collaborate to set clear performance standards and look for ways to develop team capability and recognise and develop individual potential.
Note: Any other responsibilities in line with the classification level of the role as assigned by Line Manager and/or the Department. The responsibilities as specified above may be altered in accordance with the changing requirements of the role.
**Special Conditions**: National Police Check required.
Role Status: Term up to 09/09/2025.
5 years of relevant experience at a leadership level is desirable.
Essential Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Information Technology, Business, Marketing OR equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.
