The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) has diverse responsibilities for transport systems and services, infrastructure planning and provision within South Australia.

**Duties**
Are you passionate about delivering policy and regulatory reform initiatives that benefit all South Australians? The Road Safety Policy and Reform Directorate is seeking experienced and dedicated policy officers who will thrive in a positive, collaborative and flexible work environment.

The core purpose of the Road Safety Policy and Reform Directorate is to provide policy development and delivery expertise and advice across the Road and Marine Services Division and transport network. The key areas of focus for the Directorate are road safety, motor vehicle registration and driver licensing, heavy vehicles and transport innovation.

Multiple roles are available that have different areas of focus including road user behaviour, transport innovation and micro-mobility and heavy vehicle productivity and safety.

Reporting to the relevant Section Manager, the role will involve undertaking research and analysis on complex issues, and a high level of verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders, to support the delivery and achievement National and State objectives in line with regulatory and micro-economic reform agendas.

**Requirements**:
Appropriate tertiary qualifications or equivalent and relevant professional experience is desirable.

**Special Conditions**

Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

ASO7 - $104,938 to $113,435 per annum
