Gardens at Night, a premium outdoor lighting business, is looking for an enthusiastic, creative marketing professional to drive strategic development and execution of our marketing strategy, brand and communications.

This is an exciting time to join the Gardens at Night Team as we continue to grow and develop our product offering, services and expand across Australia and New Zealand via a professional Distributor network; servicing both residential and commercial markets.

Gardens at Night is an Australian owned, award-winning business specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of premium residential and commercial outdoor lighting products. We are a long-standing and privately owned business, operating for over 25 years.

We offer a unique and creative service to a wide range of clients across Australia and New Zealand, meeting both residential and commercial landscape lighting needs. We’re proud to partner with landscape designers, trade contractors, architects, builders and retail customers; bringing projects to life through the creative use of outdoor lighting.

About The Role

Due to continued success and ongoing expansion, we have an exciting position available for a professional brand and marketing specialist who shares our passion for quality product, design and customer service.

Reporting to a collaborative Managing Director and working closely with Management, you’ll be responsible for the planning and delivery of marketing, PR and stakeholder communications across the organisation. You will work with and be connected to all aspects of Gardens at Night’s operations.

You have a passion for creating and managing brand, promotional and marketing strategies through effective consumer and business engagement including advertising, industry events, point of sale, online and social media channels.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the annual marketing plan, budget and prepare, analyse and present reports
- Manage and execute all marketing initiatives to drive growth via our partners and Distributors and enhance our competiveness
- Manage, design and create marketing material to promote the company and its products, including branded collateral, promotional material and packaging with a strong focus on digital creative content
- Create high quality, creative and informative content for social media, website, eDMs and digital campaigns that drives customer engagement and lead generation
- Coordinate photography and videography for our products and events
- Maintain our online presence including the creation of content, social media engagement and Company website updates
- Lead and coordinate our participation in trade shows and industry events.

About You

We are looking for someone who has a high level of energy and self-motivation to help drive our growth with the following skills:

- 5+ years demonstrated experience implementing and driving new initiatives (B2C and B2B)
- Previous experience in team leadership is ideal but not essential
- Proven stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- Significant experience in a similar role. Whilst you may not have direct lighting experience it will be highly regarded if you have exposure to architectural, design, furniture, landscape, building or creative industries
- Proficient using Adobe Creative Suite, MailChimp and Wordpress (or similar)
- Demonstrated experience in management of SEO, Google Adwords, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn and video mediums.
- Strong customer service values and attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- You’re design focussed with an eye for detail and have the ability to think creatively to execute a vision, demonstrating strong marketing skills and a pragmatic approach to meeting deadlines
- Google analytics and general marketing reporting
