**The Opportunity**

Come and discover the opportunity to join our **Australian Steel Markets** team as a Sales Coordinator** (VIC)** located in **Braeside VIC **for a** 12-month fixed term contract**. As BlueScope continues to grow as a business, we continue to strengthen and develop our people. We need to ensure we have the right mindsets, capabilities and skills to create and inspire smart solutions in steel to strengthen our communities for the future.

In this exciting career development role, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to what it is like to work as a Business Development Manager or Account Manager role. With guidance from our experienced sales team, you will learn to grow and build strong partnering relationships with key contacts within the residential building segment whilst understanding the associated back-end processes.

**What Will You Do?**

Working with our experienced and talented Victorian sales team and our iconic COLORBOND® and TRUECORE® products, you will:

- create, build, maintain relationships with a small portfolio of our Home Builder customers
- attend customer visits in conjunction with our business development managers
- identify business opportunities and industry stakeholders through business development activity, research and industry networking events
- organise industry events and ensure we have available merchandising collateral
- attend site visits with our Building Construction Specialist to build your knowledge and understanding
- point of contact for all our Steel Direct enquiries
- liaise with our marketing team to assist our channel partners in promoting the use of our products

- excellent communication skills and a high standard of customer focus with the ability to resolve issues and requests efficiently and effectively

- capability to navigate complex sales channels and deal with ambiguity
- an ability to utilise different tools and methods to identify potential business opportunities and industry connections (including industry sources, Salesforce, and digital or social networking tools)
