**About the role**:
The APS 5 Quality and Reporting Officer (Labour Hire) is accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex to complex compliance activities and work. Legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents guide the position.

The position is a team membership position and is accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility. The position will be required to provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation.

**Duties**
- Undertaking analysis and reporting to identify issues and drive continuous business improvement, through the development of tools, resources and/or processes.
- Preparing of briefing materials, correspondence, reports, and other products for the Minister, departmental executives, and other industry stakeholders.
- Gathering, understanding and prioritising business needs, in addition to producing innovative solutions to problems and driving project outcomes.
