**About the Role**

As the Purchasing Liaison Officer for Escaping Violence Payment (EVP) program, you will be responsible for undertaking administrative and payment-related duties. You will also assist and support the management with day-to-day operations.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Certificate IV in Business Administration or similar qualification is preferred
- Experience in accounting, purchasing, and reporting systems
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks while working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- An ability to work effectively within a team and a proactive approach to assisting the team to cover fluctuations in workloads when require

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Daily purchasing activities including the creation and expediting of purchase orders
- Conduct regular reviews and tracking of orders through to delivery into the warehouses, actioning orders as required to ensure on time delivery is maintained
- Compliance with purchasing policies and procedures, implementing corrective actions
- Conduct work activities with an awareness of potential safety issues and promptly report perceived safety risks or other significant issues to line manager
- Identify and mitigate risk relating to quality, cost, delivery and supply of purchases, escalating as required
