Responsible for Administration of the company's safety & environmental legislative compliance requirements. Handling all safety matters on site in collaboration with relevant leading hand or manager and assisting them to achieve a safe workplace.

**Client Details**

Our client looking for additional support within there office space, they are located in a waste management site in Hume.

**Description**

**WHS**
- Ensure approved company uniform.
- Ensure all necessary PPE worn when required.
- Ensure the safety of yourself and your team by following safety guidelines and procedures and keeping safety the priority.
- Report all accidents/incidents/hazards/near misses immediately to your supervisor and if necessary report to the Safety administration officer to complete a WIN (Work Improvement Notice) report.
- All employees must comply with Company Policies, SWMS' and Procedures relevant to their role (As specified in their induction).

**HR Administration**
- Ensure clear and consistent communication with your team and with your leading hand or manager.
- Maintain a focus on ensuring maximum productivity is achieved at every stage of your tasks by assisting other staff members and working as part of a team.
- Keep a constant vigil for ways to improve productivity, safety, environment and pass any suggestions onto leading hands, supervisors or management.
- All employees must be punctual and use the TMS to clock in and out.
- All employees must request for leave using the Leave procedure.
- All Employees must call your direct report if you are going to be late or absent before 7AM.

**Profile**
- Eyesight: Ability to satisfy the vision requirements for an ACT Driver's Licence.
- Hearing: Ability to hear and differentiate radio and phone communications, and alarms in a noisy environment.
- Ability to perform work in a sitting and/or standing position for long periods (>8 hours per day, 5 days per week) in a vibrating environment.
- Must be able to lift and carry loads in accordance with the National Standard for Manual Tasks.
- Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Bend or twist body.
- Ability to perform work while wearing appropriate PPE (e.g. Hi Vis Clothing & Steel Capped Safety Boots).
